Khizer Ahmed
Khizer Ahmed is the Founder and Managing Member of Hedgewood Capital Partners, LLC. Khizer is an experienced financial markets professional and brings over 15 years’ worth of experience working in a variety of senior structuring and origination roles within structured products and alternatives financing businesses at global investment banks including UBS and Nomura. In his most recent role, Khizer was Head of Debt Solutions at TP ICAP and oversaw the establishment and growth of the fund finance advisory business in the US.
Khizer graduated from the London Business School with an MSc in Finance and from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a BSc (Hons) in Economics. Khizer is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and, while in practice, held senior positions within the Financial Markets practices of Deloitte and Arthur Andersen. Khizer is a CFA Charterholder.
Peter Hennessy
Peter Hennessy is a Managing Director at Hedgewood Capital Partners, LLC. Peter is an experienced banker and investor with over 20 years of experience underwriting, structuring, and negotiating structured products and leveraged finance transactions at global investment banks and investment managers including MUFG Americas Merchant Banking, ING Capital, and Wells Fargo Foothill Alternative Investment Management. Most recently, he built the Bank of Hope’s fund finance portfolio as a Senior Relationship Manager.
Peter graduated from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with an MBA (Hons) majoring in Accounting, Finance, and Entrepreneurship and from Boston College with a BA in Economics. Peter is a CFA Charterholder.
